I am writing this reference to reflect my satisfaction and appreciation of the sale service I have received from Elaine Bowcher.
My initial contact with Elaine Bowcher was through email only while I was in the process of choosing a selling agent for my unit in Abbotsford. I selected her because I believed her presentation was realistic compared to the others which I felt were overpriced. All the sales details were organised with no fuss and after only a few email exchanges. This reflects Elaine’s excellent communication skills and ability to respond quickly which was essential to me as I am living in Saudi Arabia and there is seven hour time difference.
The unit was sold within a week and at the price I was asking. Elaine was an able negotiator and was willing to take the initiative and acted in my best interests. It turned out that my tenant was having problems and the situation could have become a problem for me but Elaine was able to handle him sensitively and professionally so that things turned out well for everyone. I appreciated this very much as it wasn’t strictly within her scope of responsibility.
During the settlement, I was home on a visit and after meeting with Elaine decided to sell the other unit I owned in the same building. By the time the market had cooled and I knew it would be as easy to sell as the first one. I was proved right and the environment was difficult for sellers but Elaine managed to find her buyer within my timeframe and I was extremely pleased with the price she negotiated.

In handling Wrights Road we were at every point in the journey aware of what was happening through your weekly updates on people who had either visited or had shown some specific interest. At no point in this stage did we feel that you were operating other than in our interests! Throughout the marketing programme you knew exactly what you were doing and more importantly where exactly the market was.
When the Auction Day arrived you were in control of those who had taken out contracts and indeed identified the winning bidder which given the excitement of bidding was no mean effort and clearly showed that you were in control of the auction. When it came to saying “the house was on the market” it was easy as we knew value was being delivered.
I clearly remember your counsel not to accept the bid of $850,000 and given the outcome of $1,055,000 it was “on the money”. These points simply underscore the confidence that you had built during the process as well as the knowledge of people and buyers.
It only added to our appreciation given that you had recommended and organised the furnishing of the house for “open days”. Whilst it was not our given taste it did show of well the space attributes of the house
